Keaten's Froggit!

Keaten has been in heaven as we have so many frogs in our yard. We have been working on playing with the frogs for only a short time (he's not so gentle) and then letting them go back to find their mom and dad. He loves to give the froggit (he combines Frog and Ribbit) a home. He gets dirt, a bowl with water, and the best part is finding bugs for froggit to eat!

Hay Ride with Family!

When each kid in the McKinnon family turns 30, my mom Audrey, does a special day and does something that reminds her of us kids... so, for Joe's 30 + 1 (last summer was so busy with weddings and fun she didn't get to it until this year) we went on a hay ride near Ottertail, MN. We had a blast and thank goodness that there was a nice breeze or we would have been dying of heat!
Keaten was amazed at how large the horese really were! Lexi had just woke up from a nap....had a fever and turns out had a ear infections... this party was not so fun for her :0(

Lexi Lou oh so busy!

Lexi loves to go in and out, up and down.... she is always busy and thinks she is SO big when she goes into places that she knows she shouldn't! Too cute!

We have a sleep over with Camry!

We had such a fun time when Camry came and stayed over night.

Of course any sleep over has to have a fun night in the bath tub... at this age at least...

Then there are snack, snacks, and more snacks... playing the game "See" food!

And last but not least.... playing... Camry and Keaten were race car drivers!!!

Keaten and Lexi swimming in the little pool! Keaten loves to put the back of his head in the pool. He thinks he is SO big!

I love my dad!

Dominic and Keaten pulling fireworks! A lot of confetti came out after you pulled the string. Keaten thought this was the best and eventually caught on how to pull! It was difficult.

We found a turtle and watched him swim. Keaten has finally learned (after hounding from his mother) that we need to let the animals go after a short while, cause they will miss their mom and dad! Actually the fish above, Dominic told Keaten that he was going to let the fish go and swim with his family. Keatens responce, "I'm so proud of you dada!"
This is my absolute favorite picture and the reasons we have went through so much to get out into the country. Dominic built 5 of these wagons to pull Keaten and his friends. Keaten is so proud and always excited to see his dad when he comes home from work. It's always out to go on the 4-wheeler, lawn-mower, or wagon! Keaten is lucky to have a dad like Dominic!
